Hey everyone!! I just wanted to let you guys know that I took Suede to his new furever home last night (yes I was able to foster him this entire time ). They are a very nice couple with no children or any other dogs. They have 4 other Weims in their family that Suede will be able to play with frequently it sounds like. Oh and they changed his name to Trammell....it suits him very well!!
I recieved an email from them earlier today and they are so happy with him and it sounds like he's not going to have any trouble adjusting. He's a dog you can't help but fall in love with.
Wish Trammell luck!!!

I am so happy for Suede. I knew you had him this whole time. I am glad; after his ordeal, he needed you. He needed someone that he knew and loved and that he knew loved him.
I hope he is very happy in his new home! |

Amy after reading this forum I can't believe everything this poor dog has gone through. He is the sweetest, greatest dog ever and we love him so much. We have not left him all weekend. He is getting used to us and even went into his crate without me telling him to last night. He has slept great and been eating well. And he follows Cliff everywhere he goes. He is listening really well and I just can't get over what a good boy he has been.
We took him to the dog park for the first time this afternoon and now he is just laying tired and hot.
I can't thank you enough for everything that you did for this dog because in the long run you did something wonderful for us.
We will not let you down and will love him as much as you have. We will be sure to bring him for a visit soon. You are our angel!!! |

Now that just made me cry! I am so happy for Trammell and for you and Cliff. You guys are the angels, and I thank you so much for loving him and bringing him into your home. I'm just so relieved that he has found his forever home with you guys, he couldn't have gotten better.
Welcome to the forum BTW, this is such a great support system for Weim owners. There is so much info here that I think you guys will enjoy reading. I enjoy looking through all the photos the best, you must post some whenever you get the chance.
Yay for Trammell! |

coolfamily,
I am so happy for Trammel.......he deserves a home like yours. His story was followed here from the first day that Amy picked up him and his daughters from the shelter.
Please keep us posted on how he is doing......we love him |

What happened to his daughters? I skimmed through the post again but didn't see anything else about them, unless I just missed it maybe? |

Our last name really is Cool. I married into it which is great!!
I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures but as soon as I do I will post some because I have some good ones. Trammell has been gaining some weight. We took him to the Vet and he had a bladder infection and parasites. But, since being on his medication he has been eating a lot more and is really filling out. The vet thinks he might have some Great Dane in him which explains his chilled demeanor and tall features. We love it!! We have a vet friend that will do the test for cost if we ever get around to it.
He met his 2 Weim cousins in Davidsonville last weekend and my brother in-law was a little scared because his 7 year old is queen of the castle and he was worried how they would interact. But, of course ole Trammell charmed her and they were licking eachother in the first few moments.
We will be bringing him to the Eastern Shore tomorrow to really get some running in since we live in the city. We take him for nice walks and of course he loves the dog park. Everyone thinks he is so great. But, of course he is a weimaraner. |
