Hi guys,
Ruby has been drooling all day - so much it's running out of her mouth. I'm worried about her (again), should I be?
Tonight she was so weird, didn't touch her food and tried to bury her chicken wings I usually give her.
My mum and her sister are visiting me at the moment.
She's been drinking a ton of water - heaps and heaps. It's not hot here - in fact it's really cold.
I've felt her tummy and she doesn't seem to be in any pain.
I'm really worried..
I know I sound like a lunatic on here.. but I really am worried. I'm about to go on night shift as well.

she's asleep now and the drool is still running out of her. Her whole face and chin is wet and her doggy bed has big spots of drool.

When in doubt, call the vet.

They will tell you over the phone if it might be serious and if it is, bring her to the vet.

Just a bit anxious...

she didn't touch any of her dinner tonight.. I've called the vet he didn't want me to be too concerned about it. He thinks it might be her getting into something she shouldn't (which she typically does).
I'll see how she is tomorrow and then if she's not better I'm taking her.
I've had to do double shifts today (18 hours of work) so I've had barely any time for my poor girl. I will let you know how she is in the morning.

Yes, this was one of Jake's primary symptoms when he bloated but there were other things as well...unproductive vomiting and attempts to poop, pacing. Jake stood in front of me and just looked at me in such a way I knew something was terribly wrong...so did he. And she would not be sleeping. But I am still very concerned about our Ruby.

Please keep us posted.

Drool was a sign that Lexi had eaten a deadly sago palm. But she was also vomiting. Drool usually indicates nausea. Let us know how she is. Poor Ruby!
