I only enjoy the snow before Christmas, after that I could do without it.

I love snow! But it's easier for me to love it when I don't get it very often.

I don't mind it sometimes, as long as I can still get where I need to go. Ice on the other hand...don't like the ice at all.

I like snow but wish it had better timing. We got right around 2 ft. I've spend the last 21 hours at the fire house. Bunker had a sleep over at a friends last night and spend the day at the fire house with me. I'm home to clear out my driveway and then going back... Stay safe everyone.

I hear ya sistah friend! I'm a Yankee - midlantic area and mostly Noo Yawkah - but since mid-90s have lived in Wilmington, NC,; Hilton Head Island, SC; Cancun & Cozumel, Mexico; and now Wilmington, NC again.

As long as it's going to be this cold, bring on some snow!

Janelle is located right near where I grew up!! I miss New England sooooooo much. Christmas just doesn't seem like Christmas since I have been in the South. I just can't get into the Christmas spirit when it is 70 - 80 degrees outside!

I love it and can't believe the Tidewater area of VA is getting some more today. Granted it's nothing compared to Northern VA, MD, DE, and PA but still, some is better than none.

OK let me restate that......I like the snow when its 1 foot or less......but 30 inches when my fiance is in Las Vegas for his bachelor party and I am the one stuck shoveling every 45 mins...I HATE. PLUS butler wont go to the bathroom unless he can see the ground so now not only am I shoveling sidewalks, driveways and porches, i have to shovel the back yard.....this sucks.....I have some animosity today....

I think I love snow because I live in the south and it's a novelty that comes and goes away quickly. It's been raining so much here this winter I've been wishing it was snow. On the other hand, shoveling the yard so the dog will pee does not sound like fun.

I'm from the Myrtle Beach area too, Im a southern girl through and through, so belive me I was so excited to get to see some snow when I moved here, but trust me when I say the novelty wears off FAST.....I never quite "got" the whole shoveling thing because in the south if if snows it is gone the next day, but when you have no choice but to shovel or not leave your house for a week...snow sucks
