I was just out scooping poop out of the yard. I always check the poop while I'm cleaning up just in case there is something I need to know. Well, first off I noticed how many bugs (ants, beetles, gnats) there were all over the poops. And it's been crazy with the flies in the air here, not sure why they are as bad as they are but they are driving me crazy. But then I noticed that two of the poops I scooped had fly larvae in them. Oh, my goodness! I freaked at first until I realized that it was from a fly after my dogs pooped it out. Gah, I was going crazy. It's time for their interceptor today anyhow, but I will be getting some wormer just for good measure now. I hate that icky feeling. I think I need a shower.  |

| This is one reason why I will not allow my future children to play with "rolly pollies". unless they wash their hands before touching ANYTHING!!!! I saw them in my dog's poop in Denver several years ago... Now that we have Goose in Gilbert, there are no bugs to go into the poop because its so effing hot and we have rocks in our back yard but still, I can concur with the gross bugs that you have in the poops. |
