Allan has been away for a few days and I've been letting Ruby sleep on the bed with me (I know naughty huh) last night 2am I woke up to the bed lurching backwards and forwards. I was so disorientated of what the heck was happening!!
Ruby was having a running dream and her (not so) little legs were pumping away in her sleep. I had to give her a jab to make her stop. A few minutes later it started again..
We had such a rockin night..
How do you sleep with Weims on the bed? I am so tired this morning from being rocked!!

I don't!

I have enough trouble sharing the bed with the arsehole I live with Wink , let alone either of the dogs.

Oh! Blue's a runner, too! sometimes it's so bad. Usually, he stops as soon as he hears us or feels our gentle touch to bring him out of it, but other times he goes right back to it!

I'm sure it's nice having her in there w/ you while Allen's away, but maybe not the whole night... try for a bit and then put her out... this way once he's back it's not a shock to be replaced Wink

We let B n J snuggle while we watch tv sometimes but then they know it's treat time and then off to bad (the sofa) and they get gated out; otherwise they'd sneak back in round 6am!

I had my first opportunity in a long time to snuggle and sleep next to a Weim the other night. The good thing was, Gus didnt run in his sleep, plus it was chilly, I had a cold, and he was nice and warm. the bad thing was.. he freakin' SNORES! Shocked

I got my revenge by snoring and coughing most of the night, though. Twisted Evil

Usually it's Ruby's treat to snuggle with us while we watch a bit of TV, but I'm so ronery with just me in the bed!!
Ruby gets it that when Al's not home she can come on, but otherwise she's on her own bed. I put her off last night onto her own bed as I was worried she rock the bed onto the street!! Laughing

I am guilty of letting Hannah sleep in the bed with us too.

It started with the best of intentions, I swear! Wink She HATED the crate, would cry all night and keep the kids and hubby up, and of course they had work and school the next day, so I stuck her in bed next to me so that when she started to fidget I would wake up and know she needed to go potty.

We got the potty training down quickly, but by then the die was cast. We tell her to get out of the bed when both of us are in bed now, but after we fall asleep she sneaks back in.

Don't really have a lot of problems with her dreaming and twitching all over the place but she HAS to bury herself under the covers down by my feet and she pulls the covers off of me every single time! Most of the time it is funny, but I have a feeling once the cold weather rolls in she is going to be getting an earful from me! Rolling Eyes

My husband started letting the girls into bed when I was on evening shifts, that was two years ago.Now Misty sleeps curled under the doona at my feet and Bella curls into my back. Not always great for the back, but great for the soul!! I wouldn't have it any other way now. They let themselves out for a widdle so at least we don't have to get up!!!

I only let Coder on the bed when my husband is staying up much later than me. He sleeps in his spot with his head on the pillow. When my hubby is brushing his teeth Coder hears and jumps of the bed. Laughing So sneaky although the warm pillow usually gives it away.

He's not much of a sleep runner at night but he will do it during his daytime naps. He'll also sleep bark with his mouth closed! Do any of your dogs do this?? The poor guy is usually jolted from his sleep by the sound of us laughing at him.

My husband works 2nd shift, so I usually go to sleep by myself. I put both kids in bed with me. Zehen sprawls out next to me like a person, usually I cuddle up to him. Zuna gets on her Daddy's pillow and waits for him to come home. They get kicked off when he gets home and comes to bed! There is nothing better than snuggling up to my silly boy for a good nap though. He's better at cuddling than my husband Wink

this is why i don't let my weims sleeping with me, because i used to have restless nights...they keep arguing and pushing eachother to get the best spot next to me or my husband all night.... Rolling Eyes

I feel the others pains...lol Rosie grunts, runs, snores and farts in her sleep. My husband works shift so I love having her in there but jeeze. Some nights are atrocious. Between her and a Vizsla that HAS to be touching you and under the covers--I doubt I have had a quality nights sleeps in years. I got more sleep when my daughter was an infant...lol

Sleep? What's that? LOL Usually it's just me and the girls in the bed, Jada sleeps down at the foot of the bed (here lately in the living room) and Zoey sleeps sprawled out beside me usually with her feet by my head, so it takes a second to get rearrenged sometimes .. Zoey loves to be curled up under blankets too, the girls have their own blanket they cover up with .. Hubby doesn't like them under our covers .. When we are all in bed Hubby and I are squished to middle of the bed and the dogs on each side of us .. I wouldn't want it any other way .. Zoey doesn't run in much but Jada is the runner when dreaming .. I usually have to nudge her and call her name to wake her .. It's funny Laughing
