Yeah, I named him Enzo as an homage to the founder of Ferrari, who's first name was Enzo. I know, I gave a German dog an Italian name... but hey, it's unique. |

How sad is this? We ended up putting our queen bed in our spare room and purchasing a king so that Sade wouldn't be on top of us every night. That girl can sure take up some room. It's like having a full grown human in bed with us the little bed hog.

I have a fear of cold noses in strange places... Bunker sleeps on the floor in his own bed unless we are on vacation. Our second floor used to be Naked Land (perks of no kids) that got shut down once Bunker reached a certain height...now Undergarment Land has opened. |

Chelsea & I always sleep together. Jax sleeps w/ Jimmy until around 2AM, depending on how much moving Jimmy does. Anyway, I take advantage of the situation w/ Chelsea, I get closer to her when she starts running and get a free back massage! Puts me right back to sleep. I've gotten used to it over the years, so it's no bother anymore. The same when Jax sleeps on my shoulder and snores like a freight train in my ear, no bother anymore. The can run, snore, whatever.... So long as they don't have GAS and I have to call Hazmat!

Since before I can remember, I have had cats in my life, so I have this innate response in my sleep to open the covers for the kitties to come under....well, apparently in my sleep I can not tell the difference between a cat or a dog asking to come under and I just let them right in.
It bothers my husband when she actually is under the sheets with us (in the cats zone too) because her little furs jab him....so we have a tiered system, us/cats (if they deem us acceptable that night) and the sheet, then depending on the season a blanket and then comforter and Rosie cuddles under one of those two - until she's too hot and tunnels back out to come back under when I'm asleep and it the cycle begins!
But when he is out of bed, it's game on for weima snuggles and spooning. We initially did not let her in bed, it was ~1 yr when we invited her in and now there is no turning back, nor would I want to! |

The husband made a liar out of me.
Bunkers been sleeping with us for a week...
I was working some major overtime. Getting up at 3:15 and not making it back home from work until very late for a few weeks. Bunker was getting up when I was getting up and would do his best to wake Brian up after I left. I guess the lack of sleep got to him because after I left he started putting Bunker in bed so he could sleep until the alarm went off a few hours later. Bunker would only get in bed when one of us was missing and the other gave him permission. Well, Brian is taking a night class so I have a few nights a week of going to bed alone. Instead of Brian sending him to his own bed when he gets home he scoots him over to the center. The other night we were both home when it was time for bed and I watched him give Bunker a boost up.
According to the husband he wouldn't be in bed with us if I had not been on overtime...so it's my fault he sleeps with us. |

Another one bites the dust... I wouldn't have it any other way, personally. |

| John worked out of town for about a year. In that time, they all slept in the King bed with me. Jake is a runner. There is nothing snugglier than 4 weims. And they all have their own spot. |

Think I can assign them spots. The other night I had a cat sleeping between my ankles, a weim head resting on my crotch, and a cat sleeping on my chest. |

| When we just had Chloe she slept fine. She has to be under the blanket head and all and she won't move all night. Marley on the other hand is horrible in bed so now they sleep in the crate. |

Our sleeping pattern is very random! We have a king size bed thank goodness. My husband and I each get 1/4 of the bed. Gunner, who is 110 lbs. sleeps pretty much where ever he wants. He's so big we can't move him Little momma Chloe sleeps all curled up in a ball. All of us are under the cover. And that Gunner gets sooooooooo hot at night, he keeps moving until he pants his self right out of bed. Only to come back under the covers when he cools off. Like many of your weims, they have to be touching us at all times. When my sister brings her Blue Weim Grayson over for the night, he sleeps with us instead of her. I find this to be really funny Chloe is a very light sleeper and hears EVERYTHING. Which is not a bad thing. Just 1 year ago, she woke us up with a little WOOF! and we saw our brand new truck being stolen out of our driveway So needless to say, we are very happy to have our babies sleeping with us.
p.s.
we found our truck smashed into a tree just down the road |

| HA...BAILEY IS A RUNNER TOO!!! I GUESS I AM JUST USED TO IT. HE ALSO LIKES TO GET ALL UP UNDER THE COVERS, THEN HE GETS HOT, HAS TO COME OUT AND REPOSITION. HE GETS UP AND DOWN ALL NIGHT. |

so, mark my words..
when we move.. i think we will be having a weimy sleep on his own bed in our room.. no more crating at night.. i think that will last about 2 hrs, and the booger will be sleeping in the bed with us.. and sleeping peacefully through the night, for the first time, ever. |

LOL Jack and I cuddle... though lastnight I got stuck with Jack AND my infant son who is going through the "Mommy dont leave me" phase. LOL So the two of them were trying to curl up next to one another. Very cute.
But when its Jack and I... and my husband (Jack usually pushes him off the bed lol)
He snuggles up next to me. He doesn't run much, but he does snore!! |
