There really isn't a science to it, I just add enough to get all of the kibbles coated |

| I add it to help with my dogs' gas. I think it has to do with the live cultures it in. And the dogs love it. |

| I think just a tablespoon or two is sufficient. It's great for dogs with sensitive tummies. But even if they don't have a sensitive digestive tract it's still a healthy treat. Make sure to buy the natural plain yogurt with no additives. The flavored kind is not good for them. Make sure it says live active cultures, usually found in small print near the ingredients. |

I read on another Weim board that yogurt will help keep their ears clean. Gets rid of the yeast. We have had great luck with it, and of corse our dogs lick thier bowls clean!

| I started mine when she was about 16 weeks, but she's always been on adult food with the others. You'll find that most puppy food is a gimmick and you shouldn't feed puppy food that encourages fast growth because it is bad for their joints. So since the older ones got yogurt, she got it too. And it's been GREAT for their ears and they love it. She gets 2 cups of kibble and about 2 spoonfuls of yogurt each morning just to coat it. You can also freeze the yogurt for a treat if you want. |

| you can add a little bit to their food now.. just enough to coat the kibble should do it. it is really good for them. Hooch has been getting it since he was 8 weeks old. |

Rosie gets 1-2 heaping spoonfuls pretty much every morning in 2 cups kibble with a touch of warm water. I usually get plain but sometimes she gets vanilla if we're out of hers we've been doing this since we got her at 8 wks as the breeder recommended it. |

I freeze yogurt in the kong for Schatze too and top it off with a peanut butter cork. I close the hole with PB so it takes her just a little longer to get it started.
If it's not frozen this girl can clean a kong in like 2 minutes then she's MAD as all get out that it's over. |
