I was at a "fancy" pet store and picked up some cow (i think) hooves and some sort of beef bone (it looks like a real bone...kinda gross but whatever). He is loving them and, unlike rawhides, these aren't going down his throat in large, flat, hard chunks (and coming up or out the same way). Are these really better or am I just assuming that because I was in the "fancy" pet store they are better?

it depends sometimes theyre better like merricks they dont use artificial preservatives or colors, but they have tasty prices too, so I rarely buy them. Grocery store meat bones work just as well.

the cow hooves worked fine, until ziggy got bigger and bit off a big chunk. and had a (partial) obstruction. she vomited a lot, we took her to the vet, who gave her fluids. later, a big piece of hoof came out in her poop.

that was the last time she got hooves.

What about bully sticks? Has anyone tried those? (I almost died when the clerk told me what they are...)
