Okay - I may go nuts soon. So Coalie had issues with dog food, after changing foods for a few months we finally found one that was working well with her stomach issues. She is eating California Natural- Lamb and Rice - okay great right.
I will say however that it seemed as though she was biting her paws some but I am not sure if I'm just paying to much attention to her behaviors. I figure if her digestive system is doing so well (no more 5-6 poops a day that are puddly or runny) then maybe it's not an allergy thing.
Well she recently decided she didn't really want to eat it anymore. I leave it there and she eventually eats it. So I tried the chicken broth- which worked but she now has hives.
Of course it could be one of many things right... The vet says that maybe something bit her outside and she is reacting. She has been digging in the dirt which she never really did because we'd catch her in time. Could it be the dirt? or the broth? She has small bumps in her ears, between her paw pads its red, she has hives under her arm/leg pitts. We've been giving her Benedryll which seems to be working although not completely gone.
Any opinions? I do not want to switch foods again because she seemed do do well on it. HELP! Thanks in advance |
