Hi My name is Jo.We have a 10 month old weim bitch called Kizzy.She is was our first dog.We also now have Milo a bullmastiff cross Gernan Shepherd that we rehomed from our local rehoming center he is big beautiful and very docile and cuddly.Kizzy is a typical weim lively ,cunning and very entertaining and will follow me absolutley everywhere!!and of course a beautiful girl.
I would like to know if anyone could tell me about weims coat.For the last few months kizzy has developed a dark stripe down her back which is fine ,but she also has dark grey blotches on her back and legs it looks as though her coat is wet(its not though) She is a mixture of light grey dark grey and mousey colour. I asked the breeder who told me "she is moulting"but this has been on going for several months now and is spreading .Her coat is shiny and soft and her skin seems fine.Would i be able to show her with a coat like this?Its a real puzzle.

Thanks for your reply.After i posted my message i looked at the other postings and they have put my mind at rest.i belong to another forum in the uk and nobody seemed to have heard of this before so i am very pleased to know that it isnt just my dog that has this.I would love to put some pics on-just got to work out how to do it Embarassed
