It's probably a good thing that the cats are being mean. Keep in mind how much she'll outweigh them in a few months ! At that time, her playfullness could very well kill them---let them give her a good whack in the nose! |

Let the cats stand their ground She needs to learn to respect and fear them for the cats' own good!
I made the mistake of thinking it was cute for 11 pound Luna to play with my 13# cat Murphy... it was cute... until Luna stared growing... now at nearly 50# she will NOT leave him alone, and I fear it will turn dangerous. Murphy is front declawed, so he cannot giver her a proper whatfor... he just tries to run away, which makes her chase him in a not-so-playful way... It's not cute any more, it's scary.
I refuse to give up either of my babies, so I play referree ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT! It is exhausting... |

| My weims played with the cats around here when they were puppies. It was so cute, they would roll around on the ground and love on each other and then one day the puppies were grown up and my girls killed a couple of cats. |

| I had an adult cat when I got Sunki as a pup. She chases her everywhere! The cutest thing ever is that they both have to sleep on the back of the couch!! |

| When we got Sawyer he tormented our two cats, and tried to bully them around and played rough. We let the cats do what comes natural and let them pepper his head a few times and that calmed him down, he doesn't play rough now... We had an even bigger problem with sawyer being real protective with his food, he would growl and nudge the cats away from his food bowl when he was eating (our cats are very noisy), after a lot of work he will now let the cats sit close by and watch him eat and has even let them sneak a bite or two... |

| Is this more of a problem with declawed cats? Are they more submissive to a weim. I don't think Daisy could've killed my tom cat, he was one tough SOB |

Both our cats are front declawed, but my kitty Murphy is totally submissive to her... but he's a total pushover about everything. He is the kind of cat you can do anything to and he just doesn't care... My husbands cat paige hisses and swats her... Needless to say she bothers Murphy ALOT more than Paige... BUT the 3 other cats she's met are fully armed, and she has been swatted by them, and is more cautios about those cats... |

Rosko likes to chase our cats also, but they usually don't have it. He gets pummeled pretty good by the two declawed ones. The one with claws prefers avoidance but will not run from him if he approaches. She is a pretty smart cat; however, so she want draw blood unless totally necessary luckily.
One of the declawed cats likes to tempt him and tease him... walking by kinda close while he's laying around and shaking her *bum* at him. Sometimes he suckers in and she'll run over to the luvsac where he can't reach her and tease him some more and paw bop him around some.
If they get fed up, they charge him and he freaks and runs off. |
