| My crate is in the bedroom so the dog is not away from me at night, but I now let him sleep on my bed. The crate is just for when we need to keep him out of trouble (still a puppy) and always give him a treat when he has to "kennel up". A kong filled with frozen peanut butter or similar treat works for sometime to entertain. The Monks of New Skete also keep their puppies next to their beds at night so they can smell their owners and feel secure. My dogs also love yogurt. |

| Poor thing sound like she has some adjusting to do. But it sounds like you have great intentions and will make a great home for her! Goodluck! |
