Hi all!
I've been reading the posts for a while now, and finally decided to introduce myself and my angelface, Lola.
I was so glad to find this forum, but, let me tell you, if I had read some of these posts before we got our weim, I probably would have tried to convince my husband to go with another breed, but I'm so glad I didn't! Lola (or as we affectionately call her, Lolabean which is often shortened to Bean, Beaner, Beanface, Queen Bean, Bean-a-Ling, etc.) has been such a joy and completely worth all the sighs of frustration.
Some of Lola's interests include: sticks, her kong, creeks, dropping her kong in a creek and pushing at it until it floats to the top and she can grab it, fluffing, sleeping between mom and dad on Sat and Sun mornings, and pulling the stuffing out of stuffed animals and carrying the "carcass" around until it falls apart on its own. She also loves road trips in the jeep and playing with other dogs and people.

that's funny you said that. i was right in the middle of a F4 on feb 5th. my house was literally 20 yards from a house that was completely gone. my weim-baby was home by himself.  |

I grew up in Washington State where all it ever does is rain. A. LOT. My first tornado (Oklahoma) I was home alone with a three month old baby, and was scared beyond belief. I was so relieved to finally move. While I do miss the thunder storms, I do not want to be sick with worry for my husband, kids, animals, or property again. Too scary. I can't imagine coming home and the neighbors house is gone!  |
