I'm new to the website and I can't tell you how much it makes my day! This is really a therapy group for us Weimaraner owners you know that?
It is crazy though, I grew up never having pets because my parents didn't have the time or money for them. But then I moved out and bought a house with my now wife. We talked about getting a dog but never really pursued it. One weekend we took a road trip to see some friends from college and one of them had a Weimaraner!. . . very loving and loyal dog she was that Guinness . . . so we fell in love. About a half year later my wife went in for an emergency apendectemy ( I think I spelled it right), when she got home she was down and out and trying to recover. So she looked in the paper and she saw some Weimaraner puppies for sale locally and knew I would not leave her alone about that breed, so she suprised me and said let's take a ride. . . . The rest is Weimaraner history!
My dog Baxter is my best friend, my favorite running partner and he makes the funniest faces and body motions sometimes. We absolutely love our Weim and couldn't imagine our lives without him.
My first dog and the best dog in the world! . . . Baxter 
By the way I would like to say that everyone does a great job with their photos and postings, but I just love the work that Linkin's owner does! |

| Welcome from East Texas. You are right this is an awesome sight. I don't know what I did before I found it. I also have to agree about Linkins pictures they are fabulous, but then again so are Tarens. |

Welcome from Missouri! It is therapy for me too! I LOVE this site and I am relatively new too.
This is my second weim baby- he is now 5 months old. |

Welcome from Nebraska! So glad you found the board...people here are so wonderful! Without them probably knowing, they have been a bit of a life line for me in the last 5 months...they will give you a shoulder to lean on, and more advice then the vet can ever give you....

LIke I said you all have great pictures and I am a little biased to Baxter. . . I have to watch what I am typing because he is usually stalking me around the house followed by a great big smile . . . have you guys noticed the smiles when you get home? They are great. . . who would have thought a dog could smile?
But it's getting colder up here and that just means that Baxter will start getting frisky. . . he loves the snow and being outside in the cold.
Ohh yeah . . . and being a couch potato, which I see that most Weim's are! lol
