Oh wow!

I love this tidbit from her blog, it's like she knows she has freedom now and is showering herself with gifts of kibble That makes me smile because it shows that even dogs from the worst of conditions can gain confidence and become happy in a better environment |

you guys are stalking heidi aren't you.
she is doing much better - really, the vet said she looks like a whole new dog. we have a ways to go yet, but you dont cringe when you pet her anymore (read "she doesnt smell like feces and urine").
she has really gotten into the habit of her AM and PM walks, she gets so excited... Riley goes stupid at walk time, just jumps around and runs in circles she gets so excitied... Heidi has caught on and does the same. I have to calm them down before they get to go... wagging tails, wagging bodies, big smiles, and lots of stomping around in excited circles.
anyone want to adopt her? |

Stalking is what we do best around here!
I am so glad to hear how well she is adjusting! Isn't it the best feeling to watch them come around, working towards their full potential? |

Big day for Heidi.
Her bio went up on the LWR page today.
http://www.louisvilleweimrescue.com/Rescue-Weims.html
She still doesnt have her shots, and until the heart mumur is figured out, she wont get fixed. I think the angle here is to get her out there, realizing the process of adopting will take some time, and we can work on her health issues along the way. Any good family will follow through and get her healthy, and if they dont, I will be at their doorstep with my angry eyes. |

They have an application form online. Although a blue one may stick out from the crowd... |

I wish I could. If I had room I would take her in a second. I know she will find a wonderful home. |

What you guys have done for Heidi is 10x harder than ANYTHING we've had to deal with... I am amazed. She's a gorgeous girl, and you must be so proud to see her become her true self.
