Oh mommie... that poor baby!
She looks so sad in the first picture... She does look happier in the next shot of her... is that a lick granuloma on her paw?
I think with all the love she'll be gettting from you guys and the TLC/meds from the vets, she'll be a great dog and ready for her forever home in no time!

Oh bless her heart. THe poor thing. You are such an amazing family for taking care of her. I am sure she will be healthy in no time! Keep up the good work!
pretty sure. our vet didnt bring it up, but she did look her feet over, so i assume she isnt worried about it.
the mange could be causing it, or just the boredom she had before. she gets crated while we are at work and at bedtime now, but otherwise, she gets free roam of the house and yard - we even get up extra early to get her on a nice walk before work. hopefully it will go away with the other things.
cant remember if i put this on here yet or not, but last night she and riley had a 5 minute, all out, running in circles, chewing on eachother, knock down, drag out play session. it was wonderful for both of them... then she got tired.

Aww that is so great! I remember when Bo finally started doing that with Greta. It was really heartwarming to see. So sweet!
less heartwarming morning this AM.
she ate too fast, threw up twice in the house, and pooped on the deck (riley did this as a puppy, so i guess heidi has not yet figured out that the deck, despite being outside, counts sort of like inside).
everyone has a bad morning here and there i guess.
luckily we are getting up extra early in the morning now, so i was ok there. about 2 minutes early today even.
vet just called... stool sample was positive for hookworm... so add that to the list. the meds we have her on now are treating it already, so that is good. we are picking up her poo immediately and bleaching where she goes so our dogs dont get it.
You are like her guardian angel...I can't think of too many people that would go as far to help a creature in need as you and your family are....thank you....

i think there are a two dozen or more folks on here that do it on a regular basis... this has given me a whole new level of respect for them. i have been talking to everyone i know about her... (a) to find her a home and (b) just to spread the word about how important it is to do this. im sold.
