Im Single and adore my weim. But sorry dont know a thing about hunting and Ohio brrrrrr its cold there . Being from Florida And living in NC for the last 4 years I have come to the Conclusion that this is as far North as I can go. Oh and I turn 37 this Sunday so me and Scoob have to go for a run Saturday so we can have cake.

Hunting not a requirement....just an added bonus

I am a single lady from Central Ohio, and I love my weimy gil. I think it is a great idea to meet people who love their weims (and other animals) as much as I do. Jeremy, I am 35 years old and live outside of Columbus (15 mins), and think it may be nice to meet you. Do you ever take your dog to the public dogs parks. Maybe we could meet at one.

I couldn't help but crack up at this...too funny! I am single as well and I had to laugh because a while back someone asked if I was married because of the dogs I had...they said they seemed like a mutual pet...what the?? Anyway...happy hunting!;)

this thread is cracking me up, I as well am surprised no one has done this before.

My daughter and I were talking about this and we just bet there will end up being a "Love Connection!" I told her that the mutual love for Weimaraners will certainly bring people together!

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. Besides loving kids, I was looking for someone who enjoyed the outdoors and had a great sense of humor and loved U of L basketball as much as me. At the time I did not own a Weim, but my grandparents had two and I knew I would have one eventually!
On our first date, we went to a party and the homeowner had two weims. We spent the whole night playing with the dogs. He said it was the only breed he ever really wanted. That was a good omen!:)
We were married a year and a half later, we both had two children each and we wanted one more. Sadly, I lost the baby and had to have an emergency hysterectomy. We were devastated. But that January, we bought Kaiser. He bonded our whole family together and helped us all heal.We still have him and have loved every minute of it!
We are getting a new puppy in March, and I can`t imagine us as a couple, not having a weim in our lives!

Carrie1964, that was a lovely story. My hubby and I did not have Weims prior to meeting, but as soon as I told him all about Weimaraners, we both agreed immediately that this was the breed for us. Two years later, we got our first Weim and now we will always have one or two or more for the rest of our lives.

It would be so cute if the love of Weims brought some people together on this site
