So with all this laughing I have been doing at some of ya'll
s funny stories of really bad poo in kennel experiances the past weke or so Michael just canlled to tell me that Wrench has had the same....all over the wall, been laying in it. He must have started right after we left the house today and the poor guy pood 3 more times while I was on the phone with Michael for less than two minutes!
The change he has had is that he did great on the trippet canned tripe but I decided to try the merrick bg tripe....I didn't really like it when I opened the can because it's so much water unlike the trippett and I only gave him a wee bit for breakfast yesterday....he was fine all day. I gave him a wee bit more for dinner last night...his poo was a bit soft but ok so I decided just dry food today to get past that....well....Michael got home to the bomb that had exploded! poor puppy! and poor Michael! Thankfully everything will be clean by the time I get there though=)
Michael will be home with him the rest of the day, water but no food the rest of the day now though, tomorrow some chicken and rice and then see how he is. |

| The first time Zehen had a huge diarrhea blow out I freaked! I came home and there was water, poop, blood, stick pieces everywhere! I took him with me to work/the vet the next day. Two hours into work rolls around... one of the techs comes up front and waits patiently while I finish my phone call, she goes "Eliza, go back and look at your dog." Sure enough, my poor boy had his kennel covered in sticky poo and was covered in it himself. Someone covered for me while I cleaned him and his kennel up and took him out to finish his business. Poor guy- he was humiliated! He just had that look on his face. The vet gave him some anti diarrhea gel which stopped him up. He pooped stick fragments for the next day. Lesson learned- I've been much better about making him drop whatever yummy stick he picks up. |

Well he was his old wiggle butt self when I got home last night. Michale had every trace of the scene gone and cleaned so I was real happy about that and my pup being ok. We gave him some probiotics and he got to sleep with us last night.....until he pushed me out of bed at 2:am and was smiling at me about it....yes...you all know that funny upside down smile...he was wide awake too! haha
But I won't be using the BG canned tripe on him anymore, stick to the trippett canned tripe and he does fine which is packed with pure tripe anyways , the BG was 90% water or something to that effect. |
