her and blue slept on the couch until it was time to go to bed...
at bed time it got a little complicated. blue, now that hes spoiled, has made a habit of sleepin at the foot of the bed with us. so he takes his usual spot. i tried to get gretchen to sleep in blues bed but she wasnt haing that. as soon as i turn the light out she jumps into the bed too! so now we have two full grown weims in the bed with us and me hangin off the edge.lol! blue finally had enough and got down and slept on his bed and she slept with us. thank god blue has such a good temp. hes not jealous of her at all. he adores her im going to get her her own bed today and see if she'll sleep on it. and no dogs on the bed so that theirs no favorites. |

AW! That's so sweet! I hope the "no dogs on the bed" rule works for you. It's either let Holly in the bed or crate her at night. When she's out she always sneaks up on the bed. |

yeah she absolutely refuses to sleep or lay down on anything hard. my house is entirely carpeted and she wont even lay on it. her front elbows are so beat up and calist from being in a shelter for that long. i dont think they gave her any thing soft to sleep on. poor girls in bad shape. her nails were 1 1/2" long, she stunk bad, her ears are filthy inside and shes got sores or her elbows and the top of her front paws.
no worries though, im takin care of her. got the nails trimmed, she got a bath today and i put some neosporin on her sores. tommorrow ill try to get her ears done... baby steps. shes been real cooroprative. she really is a sweet girl. she seems happier already. i know her nails were botherin her being that long. |

Oh Shawn, she couldn't have a better home for the holidays. I know you will take good care of her. She must think she is in heaven.
She is a very pretty girl.
If you need to take her to the vet, just let us know. |
