So I am home today with a migraine and I give Ada a bully stick while I'm laying on the couch. I look down and the bully stick is no where to be found. She plowed through this pretty big bully stick, but somehow the rest of it got down her throat. This is what I pulled out her throat...



Definitely going to to have to watch her much more closely now. So scary.

Oh my... that's scary.

Oh my! You might try antlers as an alternative to bulky sticks.

She has antlers ( a deer and elk) as well, but we give her bully sticks as a treat. She's never ever had a problem. I think it must have slid down her throat. The scariest part is she didn't make a sound, I just happened to look down. I will for sure keep a close eye on her when chewing bully sticks from now on.

Eek!!!

Scary!
We always watch the girls as they get towards the end of their bully sticks. Once they're too small to hold in their paws well they tend to just chew the whole thing at once, which always puts me on guard.
