It's starting to get cold (!!!!!) and I was wondering if you put your Weim's in sweaters. They don't really have much of a coat...

Quite a few put their weims in sweaters and coats during the winter. I haven't put any on my guys for more than just show for the ones that I make so people that buy them can see how they go on. My daughter however loves to dress them up in her shirts which I find hilarious when one of the comes out in a turtle neck lol but I don't think the dogs are as enthused with it lol. My guys typically prefer to snuggle with a human body under a blanket...mainly Buddy ....most of the time you will find I dog pile of three weims on the end or middle of my couch lol

Yep. Because I think it is pitiful to see him shiver. :)

Here is his coat:

And here is how he spends his winter days:

Stormy has sweaters and coats for when she goes out. She hates to be cold! At night she sleeps under the blankets up against me.

No NO no Tulla goes out in all kinds of weather down below zero and wears no sweater. She is very active and never shivers or complains. We ski at a fast pace and she loves bring out in the snow and cold weather.

I'm going to try a coat for Izze this year. Outside last winter she would play but be done after 10 min or so. Then she would just sit and hold up one paw then the other. Inside she loves to be under covers and warm (poor girl, I keep a cold house!). We had been given a coat for River but she tore it off every time we put it on her (her fur is a little bit thicker than Izze...and she's a tomboy). Not sure if Izze will go for it but I figured a coat is worth a try. Especially since she does let me tuck her in every night just as Ziggie is wrapped up in the pic above, cute!

No. We get plenty of snow in the midwest and some very cold temps. He plays outside until he gets cold. He does shiver at night if he is cold, but he sleeps on the bed with us and has a blanket if he needs it. When he comes in from the cold outside he heads for the living room blanket and fire place. Spoiled dog, but he stays plenty warm.

I have the same blankie with the paws for the car. We are in PA and winters can be nasty here. I do have a coat I use when it is really cold or we are out playing in the snow for awhile. Like today we had snow...yes snow...so the coat went on to go out and play.

Yes, Ben and Elsa will wear jackets when we know the wind chill is going to be horrible.

They have 'Fido Fleece' jackets and booties. I think this picture was from the cold spell of Christmas a few years back. They'd go outside to go potty, and come back in not being able to move their paws at all. Think it was 10 below 0F that Christmas when we took their walk--hence the booties and coats.

Last year I even bought a cheap human hat and cut it to go around Ben-Ben's ears like ear muffs. His ears are paper thin and get cold/swell very easily.

I bought this coat for storm on a huge closeout! Only $10!

I plan to get her one if these lighter weight fleeces because I can't resist it!

 Love it.
Perla has a coat and sweaters from last year. We got them after we were out one night and the poor baby just sat and shivered.

She loves her a new birthday sweater, and I'll keep an eye out for the sales to get her a new coat. Last year's is just a teensy bit too small.

::sigh:: y'all forgot my dinner again.
