|
Do most rescue groups require that all pets in the home are spayed/neutered before allowing a rescue to be adopted?

Ive seen either that or a contract that the new owner has to sign promising to do so within a certain amount of time....I've heard of rescues checking to make sure they have been fixed and if not, they take the dogs back.

I understand that if I get a dog from rescue that the requirement is that dog has to be spayed/neutered. I am asking if a dog owner has a dog that isn't spayed/neutered, will rescue groups let them adopt a NEW dog.

I think it depends on the rescue AND the adopter's reasoning for not s/n the current dog(s).
