Hi,
Was just wondering how frequently your babies go on heat. I ask as it would appear my girl has come on just four months after her previous one. Seem to remember having read somewhere that every six months was the norm...... |

| It all depends on the individual female. every 4 months may be normal for your female. My girl is every 6 months to the day! Makes it easy on us but I know other weims who come in every 4 months and others that come in every 9 months. If she is not going to be used for breeding or showing it would be in her best health interest to have her spayed. |

Every four months is a little close together. Fertitility can be affected as there is not much recovery time for hormones to level out between times.
How often were her dam's heat cycles? Many times that will determine the frequency of heats for the pups.
I would get her spayed as her chances of pyometra are higher due to more heat cycles. |
