Creekin' Share

The Weimaraner is a photogenic breed. Weimaraners know how to ham it up when they see the camera! Show us your Weimaraner/Weimaraners! Weim pictures are the best! We want to see big Weims, little Weims, silly Weims, and more!

There's a County Park/Nature Center close to us that is pretty quiet due to being in the "country". It's not big but it gives us a new place to explore...and it has a creek! River was a little unsure of the current the first few times we went but today she was a pro. So here's too many pics from our afternoon. We found a good spot for fetch and made her swim after sticks. She was so cute because she figured out how to track the stick with the current and wait for it to come to her. We had fun until the nice fisherman guy told us about the water moccasion he saw and then I went all girly made us move far far away (to the car ).

She insists on shaking off while still in the water

Where's the Weim?

This is the stance she always does when playing fetch...always! She's ready to run but stone still watching you out of the corner of her eye. I included another pic of her doing it.

Thanks for looking guys! :D

Very cute! And for the record, water moccasins make me go all girly too. They scare the begeezees out of me.

Great photos! I love that she tries to 'shake off' in the water

I had to Google 'water moccasin'. Those ones seem quite aggressive? Snakes in Australia don't worry me too much (I do flora and fauna surveys for a living!), but I would worry about the dog not knowing what he was up against. Eep!

Looks like she had fun, so cute! As for the water moccasion, I reckon that the fisherman was just trying to scare you off cause River must have been scaring all the fish
