Rules are rules, consistency is key. It is certainly not fair to expect your whims of the weekend to dictate your dogs behavior for your convenience (or a few extra hours of shut-eye)?
Not trying to be a smart-*bum*, but welcome to the world of responsibility!
Sorry, I am a bad example, my dog is spoiled, even if he goes to sleep on his own, lovely temperpedic deluxe doggy bed, inevitably he ends up with us. Of course I also sit on the doggy bed while the dog hogs the couch...... I actually wish my dog would wake up in the mornings! Although if he were locked away somewhere by himself he would never sleep.....nor would I. |
