One day I was cooking breakfast and I left 2 raw eggs on the counter. When I can back, Mac, my weim was gently holding one egg in his mouth! Whenever he gets something he's not suppose to have, we say, "thank you mac" and he'll come and give it to us. Only he usually drops it right before we get it.......I tried so hard to catch that dang egg....but splat! |

That sure is funny that Rosie hid the bread...she must have been planning on having a snack later!
Sometimes when I give Gracie a treat, she will walk around the house with it in her mouth while making a whining noise. She then finds a spot-corner of the couch, under the pillow on my bed, in the laundry basket, etc.- and hides the treat there. When Gracie is hungry, she goes to get her treats out of their hiding spots. It is so funny to watch! |

lately June's been going in Chris' closet when we're ignoring her. it's kinda funny... she's got 2 comforters and the guest pillow in there she fluffs up and sulks on!
Whenever she steals something she shouldn't have, she races under the coffee table and eats it real fast... no chancing Blue finding hidden stash! |

| I was making breakfast one morning and like a dummy had walked away, I think one of the boys called for me .. Came back to a bowl w/nothing but shredded cheese in the bottom of it .. Zoey had licked all the eggs out of the bowl I had already mixed to scramble .. My oldest stepson says " just add some more eggs who cares" KIDS!!! .. Zoey is also a bread theif we now have to put the bread up where it can't be reached .. I don't really have this issue w/Jada although I'm sure she goes right along once it's done .. |

Cloud does the same thing! Except it is a raw hide that is buried in the back yard. He seems to remember how long he leaves it cause he will unearth one and bring to the bed (bah) where it is soggy and smells of earth and happily nom it.
I don't know why he likes to nom soggy, earth smelling raw hides but he loves it. |

I know this is off topic but Weimbyassociatin is your dog a weim. Sure looks like a weim but that color is amazing. Cloud is a very appropriate name. Gorgeous dog! |

My first weimaraner Heidi did something similar but with a turkey carcase. I had put it in the garbage can in the kitchen and didn't think much more about it. When I came back later to empty it, no turkey carcase but there was Heidi looking quite satisfied with herself. All I could think of was shattered turkey bones perforating her guts so off to the vet we went. He poked, prodded and felt around and said he didn't feel anything so next an x-ray....nothing. A couple days later I was picking up after myself, something bachelors don't often do, and noticed my Heidi looking first at me and then the closet door. I opend the closet door and started taking out my dirty clothes and what do I find? A turkey carcase burried in my dirty clothes in the closet.
My second girl Schatzie would bury her chew bones in the sofa cushions. So far, Udo has not come up with anything too match this behavior. |
