Just wanted to update everyone on Enzo's progress on this food, as I've seen more and more references to it here and elsewhere. He has done pretty well on it, but has been inconsistent as of late. Some hard and some runny poops with wicked, WICKED gas. I guessed that it might have been a touch rich for him over the long run, as mentioned by a few other folks elsewhere, so I picked up a bag of the Chicken & Brown Rice Life Protection Formula also made by Blue Buffalo. I have been mixing 50/50, three cups total in the morning and three cups total in the evening. I know, large volume, but he is a super active dog and is at a perfect weight on this amount. His poops have normalized and it seems like he feels better.

I'm glad that the switch is working well for him. I want to try Blue Buffalo but it's a little too expensive for me right now. However, I can at least buy that one in town. As for feeding him 3 cups twice a day. I feed Scooter between 6-8 cups. He's constantly doing something. I let him have free reign of the yard and he's never sitting still. So, lots and lots of food. Rolling Eyes

I hope he still does well on the food for you! And no more gassies. lol

We feed the blue buffalo salmon and sweet potato and our two love it. It was a little rich for them at first but then their poops firmed up and their coats look really good.
