Aw, Sophie got hurt at daycare today

I guess a bunch of dogs got into it at daycare and there was blood and well, it was Sophie. Two staples in her side, no daycare for two weeks, great.

At least they didn't charge us for the care but Gary didn't ask if there was an aggressive dog or what really happened. I got a little too upset, I guess I'm a big baby.

Aw, if you could just see her little sad face.

I would be really upset too and want to find out exactly what happened. The more I read about the things that happen at dog parks and now daycare - it makes me want to put Linkin in a bubble to keep him safe. We're starting obedience class in a week... GULP.

Yeah. I doubt that Allen would ask too many questions, either. But I would certainly want to know! Of course, he'd probably call back and ask, he wouldn't want me talking to them... I can see why you'd be upset, I know that I would be, too.

i hope sophie will feel better soon. i would really try to find out what happened, what if a dog bit her? better to know, so you can find out if the dog had all the shots. i would go down there to find out what happened. let us know if you do, and let us know how poor sophie is doing. lot of doggie kisses

Thanks everyone. Sophie is sleeping although she looks so tiny and sad, I don't know how to explain it. She keeps giving me the puppy eyes.

I plan on calling. Gary just doesn't ask the questions and I know for a fact that Sophie is not aggressive with other dogs.

They gave us antibiotics to give her and I know they don't allow dogs in daycare unless they have all the proper shots, etc.

Just wondering - do they have cctv at these places? Maybe what happened is on film so you could see. Also, I know this is not child care but I would have expected a written piece of information of what happened, when and why.
