Hello I am new to this site, my name is Joan and our wonderful weim is Heidi. She will be 6 years old in November. Is anyone on this site familiar with a aural hematoma. Our Heidi had laser surgery on Friday to correct this. She was diagnosed prior to this with a bacterial inner ear infection. She has had ear issues on and off since a pup, always the left ear. Vet is suggesting allergy testing. If allergies why only the left ear. Could this be food related, she is currently on IAMS with Brandon Farms organic wet.
